Welcome to NY Persian Parade's Official Website!
New York Persian Parade is an annual parade held in New York City
celebrating Persian New Year, Nowruz. In order to keep the traditions of
our homeland alive,
NY Persian Parade Foundation Inc. encourages
everyone to be part of this year parade that focuses on the culture, arts,
and history of our homeland, Iran. Everyone from every race and culture
can participate in, while enjoying the music bands, dance ensembles,
flags, floats, performers, marchers, and dignitaries.
Having presented the first Persian Parade in 2004, followed by nine
annual successful parade to enthusiastic audiences traveling across the
nation to be part pf this majestic event, the 10th annual Persian Parade
was held along the 12 blocks of Madison Avenue in New York City on
April 14th, 2013. The colorful parade includes 15 floats, which each
represent different Persian festivities or a figure from Iranian history
accompanied by folkloric dace. Please click
